Context:

Our client is a leading payment solution working towards its vision of becoming a leading fintech player. It was earlier a strategic business unit of a large diversified global giant, hived off post an organization restructuring exercise. With new leadership at the helm, the company embarked on a digital transformation journey aimed at delivering exceptional customer experiences. Recognizing the pivotal role of people and culture in this transformation, the HR organization was identified as the key driver of change.

LagomWorks partnered with the talent leaders to build their innovation capabilities and enable them to drive strategic transformation projects.

Understanding the context

LagomWorks initiated empathy-led research conversations with business and HR team members across all levels. These discussions informed the identification and definition of organizational challenges, ensuring a deep understanding of the underlying issues.

Designing the solution

LagomWorks introduced the Design Thinking methodology to the HR team, empowering them to tackle challenges innovatively. A three-day Design Sprint was conducted, focusing on empathizing, ideating, and prototyping solutions for the identified organizational challenges. An iterative approach was adopted to refine these solutions for maximum efficacy.

Capstone project

Three transformation projects were identified to be executed over a four-month period. Cross-functional project teams were finalized, leveraging Design Thinking principles and processes to drive these projects. LagomWorks provided mentoring and coaching to the project teams throughout the design and implementation phases, ensuring successful outcomes.

Design community

LagomWorks fostered a community for sharing best practices, ideas, and use cases through tech-enabled curated learning boards. Behavioral nudges were employed to encourage learning and sharing within the community.
